Here you can find map and battle details:

Armies
- British defensive scenario. British 100 pts, japanese 125 pts.
- Mines, pillboxes, command vehicle counters & trenches available.
- Number of placed installations (above) may not exceed number of deployed friendly units.
- Only one aircraft, no airdrops and no tanks allowed in the army
(as all this was very rare in that theatre; other vehicles may be used).

Deployment zone:
Special. North-South deployment.
- Attacker 2 hexes from the edge; must use landing barges if no more land is available (use US landing craft with its parameters).
- Defender (British) deploys 2 hexes around the objectives. Obstacles may be placed up to 4 hexes from defender deployment zone (as on cards).

Tips for beginners
- none, we are not beginners Wink

Winning conditions
- objectives have equal value. After 7th turn, if each of the objectives is held by undisrupted opponent units, the game continues until 10th turn. After that, if there is still a stalemate, army value becomes the victory condition.

Shall we decide the sides by a throw or you have some preferences? I can do any side, but I prefer fighting for the King than for the Emperor  Wink

You may fight for the King, I'll fight for the Emperor.

Army sent to The Mighty A (3rd side). Waiting on yours.

Initiative roll is not needed, as in defensive scenario I deploy first and you start. I am updating the map now.

What to say...Never was so much owed by so many to so few Confused
Mines are green, positions sent to The Mighty A. Barbed wires are grey. MG is in a pillbox pointing on G8.

I will be out this next week and will not be able to judge the game.  It looks like it should be good.

Good luck to both sides.

Will send my army to The Mighty A, and post it here, so we can start.  He can verify if anything is amiss when he gets back.

Got the armies in just in time.   Very Happy

Everything looks good (of course).  Sindor also has a Bristol Beaufighter which (for obvious reasons) is not on the map.

I am looking forward to finding out how this game goes.  Good luck.

Exclamation  Arrow To accelerate the game - I am available from 8:00 to 16:00 of C.E.T. (GMT+1) and sometimes in the evening (20:00-24:00 C.E.T.)

Please fit your time availability somewhere in these intervals so we could agree on some "Time T".

Easier said then done, manage a restaurant kitchen and have a new son in the house, so will do my best.
?-How do the mines actually work, after knowing which is the real one, can I move through them safely or can they still cause damage.

Oh, well, being an office clerk has some advantages Wink
Mines are one-time affair. Used mines are discarded. Optionally, you may place more than 1 mine/hex and form a minefield - then only one mine is revealed each time.

I would prefer if only one person makes the map, as now I have to re-paint all your units on my version of the map (movements saved in .jpg format cannot be updated).
