Post subject: Final Creativity Challenge (#10: Make a youtube video)

Time to conclude this Olympic event with a difficult and unusual challenge:
Post a video on youtube on anything related to AAM or WAS.
If you can't think of something else, you may want to do a review of the game to advertise it or teach the game to newbies (like the tutorials of Magic the Gathering on youtube), or make a little movie of a battle, or combine it with cinematics from games, or ..., well do something creative anyway.
You have three weeks for this. Until June 15, Sunday night Pacific Time.

Very cool!
Could you by any chance make the deadline 3 weeks, so that we have time to organize it with our gaming groups?

Nope. Only the main "director" gets the points. Not the actors.

Well, yeah, because this next week my playgroup won't be meeting, and only one week to set up a proper vid is nothing, especially when you consider the kind of project we are planning.

sorry but thats a little bit to much challenging for me especially i do not own a Cam that can make videos that last longer than 30 seconds.......

yeah, just let this thread stay open, otherwise I dont think we'll ever see a youtube video at all  !!!! And it's very important to get a video on youtube, A&A are almost not even represented on youtube, it would be good PR if we were...

So is there any official word on when it is going to end?
Besides today?
I'm trying to figure out how to make the videos look good when I can only take 15 second videos.

I have created my first video in .avi format (113 Mb, 1:09 min) for AAM.
I wanted to post it on YouTube, but the process had stopped while "Uploading"; even after six hours it did not finish (on 8Mbit optic cable internet).
Is the file too big? Does anybody know some tricks how to load it properly?

That's 1 min or 1 hour? If 1 min, the file is extremely big. If you use windows, windows movie maker can make it much much smaller by converting it to .wmv format. I'm pretty sure that .wmv can be uploaded to youtube without trouble.

I have it, I have used previously some raw microsoft format. Now on 8 megs  Enjoy it
