Das Spiel ist kaput, I believe.
Thanks for a great game. I was scared to death of that plane.

My wife wanted to know what you are studying.
Thanks again. _________________

Hi...
yeah you will hold the objective in turn 7, that was clear. But i saved my last bomb for turn7, its important for our 2nd game with how many units you'll win.
It's 6xDI (24pts) vs Me110 (17pts)....
I drop my last bomb to one (not important which one) DI in cover:
Rolls: (8d6) hits on 3+
cover
Rolls: (1d6) cover on 6 _________________

K one DI in turn 7 down...
You win, congratulations. You had exactly the right army to deal with me. the cavalry for the dig in sniper, much infantry with steely resolve and almost no infantry at my side to attack your ones twice to egal that cool SA and the flak of course so i couldnt attack your cavalry with my plane in turn 1, which was the death of the sniper later....
Cool game and congratulations again! You did not do a single mistake as far as i see it. It's a 20pts to 17pts win in the end. I guess you lead with 4 pts then (1pt for victory).
Btw i study political sciences and globalhistory, with emphasis Near East and Germany from Weimaer republic to 1945.
Yeah i know him. not personally right now, but we have a AAM trade pending, so i will meet him soon i think.
You leave to school? What are u studying. _________________

Sharpe wins by 3 pts (the minimum 1pt is earned, when smaller army beats larger army).
Now you choose out of 3 last available maps. I offer following system
Roll 1-2: Britain/Italy Eastern Africa 1940 (5)
Roll 3-4: RUS/JAP Mandchuria 1939 (1&1-3)
Roll 5-6: CHI/JAP China 1939 (1&4-6)
Sharpe takes Axis, anybody of you can roll for the map (select at random or let the loser roll) _________________

Thank you for your kind words. It was an exciting game.
I teach world history and English. Today's lecture was 1934 to 1945 in Europe.
A couple of questions first.
Where is the info on bombs?
Why do the bombs hit on 3+? I thought that was his expert strafer modification. Bombs only hit on 4+ earlier in the game.
Why do 5 bomb hits destroy a unit with Steely Resolve 2?
I'm not trying to be pedantic, I just want a clear idea of the game for the future.
Roll for map:
Rolls: (1d6)
I like the units, but do miss the Sharpedia. It would be nice to have 50 Polish units from which to choose. _________________

I'm sorry. I didn't read the whole message before I put in the roll. Feel free to reroll. _________________

Info on the bombs is in the HHR Rules compendium I sent you by e-mail last time Bombs hit normally on 5+ (Inaccurate -1 as everything falling from the sky - like artillery shells). I.e. mistake of the Westen - his Me110 should hit on 4+ with bombs (application of SA Expert strafing).
But 5 successful rolls on bombs = 10 hits (SA Shrapnel, remember? ). _________________

That's clear.
We can't use concealment in this tournament?
The rules you sent me (Rules 2008) don't mention bombs at all. _________________

Are the kids interested in this? How is the tendency opposite Germany and Austria in US teenagers heads today? Do you think there are still reserves against these countries or is a feeling "that happened so long ago" dominating?
Quite interesting for me _________________

My 16 year-old son is very interested in history, especially WW2. Most other teenagers don't really care. They don't know the difference between Goering and Gilgamesh.
Very few people here under the age of sixty hold any ill will against Germany. A few veterans do, but many of them admit that they liked the German people very much. My mother-in-law despises Germans, but she grew up in Southampton, England and got nightly visits from the Luftwaffe. If Americans think of Austrians at all, they picture the von Trapp family surrounded by kangaroos. _________________

It's a pity. But, on the other side, I do not know all your presidents and 51 states neither (I can remember cca 10 of each group) _________________

Only 50 states, actually, plus our various colonies. I am starting a movement to annex the Czech Republic so we can start mining supermodels from its pulchritudinous female population. _________________

It means "characterized by having great physical beauty." From Greek, I believe. _________________
