Post subject: Shokaku v. Herky80 IJN/USN Draft Match

We draft all the units of each side and then play two matches, one for each fleet we draft. 200 point games, 2 50 pt. objectives.
Shokaku won the draft roll and drafts first. |

I want to double-check to make sure you get how it works. We will draft all of the units for the US and Japan. And then play two games where you build your fleet to 200 points in each game. In one game I will play the US and in the other I will play Japan. Its easy...
Also:
You will not use all the units you draft.
And, you can use a unit multiple times, as long as you abide by historical limits. |

OK, you don't have to select Guam because you already selected Alaska. So you get all the Alaska-class ships.
I can understand the confusion there.
So draft a unit besides Guam.
However, although you drafted Shokaku, you do not automatically get Zuikaku because it is in the game already. |

You already picked Iowa, select again.
At the top of this thread, I have all the units listed. What I personally do is copy and paste it to a word document and highlight the units taken- yours I highlight in purple and mine in red. It makes for easy tracking of what has been taken.
I also put the units in order of how I want to draft them so that I know what I want to take next... |
