Well here it is Nov. 1 and I wonder what the odds are in seeing the 2 preordered cases of E/W arrive in a month. I'm can hope one of these will appear soon.

Believe 12/15 is the anticipated release date for Early War. _________________ James 1:17

| I'm feeling optimistic about this. Mainly because M2A0 opened some boosters already. |

We'll probably get it on 12/15 considering it was originally suppose to be released in September. I think a post somewhere on the WoTC site stated the WoTC marketing was holding up the release schedule for this case instance. Probably to get the most bang for the buck. _________________ James 1:17

I for one am ready for this next set. It will be a great set, and I will enjoy every piece I keep. Hope my wife has placed my order for my Christmas gift. Hope my friends are ready to play some. _________________ It is enough that the people know there was an election. The people who cast the votes decide nothing. While a case is in my future, I'm having a hard time getting excited about a bunch of Panzer 1s & 2s.
Hopefully a big pack of infantry will help round out my forces. I'm wondering though, will there be more power creep in the Early War? _________________ Custom Painted Minis: http://riversidegaming.myfastforum.org/forum52.php

In some ways I am upset for trading away all my French and British pieces now. I now need to trade for and buy back all those pieces I traded away? ::crying:: _________________ It is enough that the people know there was an election. I think they stated in a thread WoTC will not be making maps for this release. Maybe Gale Force 9 would do something. _________________ James 1:17

December 15th, eh...I was wondering when Early War was ever going to come out. Can't wait!
By the way, pardon my ignorance as to what will be in EW, but does anyone know what smaller nations are going to be in it, such as Dutch, Belgians, etc.? I think that there will be some Belgian units IIRC, but I haven't discussed AAM in at least 6 months...

Just a question.
What sort of maps were you looking for or expecting to see?

Being an "old" Squad Leader player i'd love to see a sort of map pack.
Maybe you could help.
At the time being, on all the forums i know of, without Red Baron and a few dedicated players like Bean, myself, and Snips, we'd be left alone.
Time for some map creating! _________________

I'd like to see someone do some interpretations of the old 2" maps in 3" scale so old scenarios could be played using the new rules/scale.
I'd also like to see some hilly maps. I'd be interested in someone designing some maps with some new rules for hilly terrain where taller hills could look past shorter hills and where hills are bigger than 100m across.
A city map other than that crappy one from... EF was it? _________________

Don't you play scenarios??? Hard to play a Polish battle without Panzer Is and IIs and the latter are very important for the French campaign as well.
BTW, haven't heard of any panzer IIs to be part of Early War. Wouldn't mind a Panzer II commander, though, but I think M2AO has already confirmed there won't be a new tank commander until the next set. Shame.... |
