Hi ive been hovering on these boards for a while. I dont post alot I think this is my second time at most but because the other boards are inactive I decided to make the switch.
Anyway I was wondering about the churchill tank in the eastern front set. I just opened one and wont get a chance to play AnA for month or two and it seems to me this unit has very interesting stats namely a high def and low attck val.
My question is if it is worth the 28 points with such low attck val and is it commonly used by Uk players? I dont play them myself. Would I be better off with croms if I wanted to start playing Uk? Thanks for your time. |

Depends on how you like to play. I myself am I US player mainly. However the Croc I do think is widely used. If you're like me you want speed and good firepower and decent armor (basically aggresive style), this means you want croms. however the Croc is more a defensive or slow, adapting type player. I think if used correctly the Croc can be a devestating tank. I wish i hadn't traded mine away. _________________ "Courage is what it takes to stand up and speak, Courage is also what it takes to sit down and listen." - Churchill

You can always proxy the Eastern Front Churchill for:

The Churchill can be used to devastating effect in a North Africa scenario against Italian and early German tanks.
It can also be used to "mop up" enemy armor that has been damaged previously by Cromwells.
The Cromwells duke it out in the opening rounds while the Churchill slowly lumbers up to the action. |
