WW1 tanks

This is a bit off topic, but I'm looking for some help.

I like to buy military reference books, mainly about tanks. I have an easy time finding WW2, Cold War and modern references but not much about WW1.

Any recommendations for a good WW1 weapons guide?

Osprey has the most reliable a well-respected military history reference books, and a wide assortment of them. You'll most likely fond what you need from them.

For WWI tanks I can directly refer you to this item which I own;

Very detailed on the workings of the Mk.IV, a good start to your collection.

Thanks. I have a few Osprey books. I like 'em but they're expensive. I'm always checking the discount books and have gotten a few good general WW2 weapons or just plain tank guides. But they always seem to concentrate on the Panther, Tiger, Sherman...With only brief mentions of WW1 armour. But I guess it's time I bite the bullet and start buying some Osprey.

Yeah, Osprey is on the expensive side but to be honest I'd take Osprey over any other company, when it comes to miltary history and reference. The discount stuff isn't bad, but its usually aimed towards newcomers or those who aren't too deep into military history.

True. But I have found some good discount books from a publisher called "Amber".
