What Club Should I Join?

Hi all,
In case you've not run into me in the forums before, I'm inclined to play online games and so-so at this kind of thing.  I guess I'm a sucker for specific things I like and that hurts vs. more standardized fleets.
Here's a brief skinny of my online career.  I played the Forumini Admirals Cup tournament and lost in the first round.  I had the Japanese carrier admiral, playing several low vital armor carriers, and got torched by Helldivers.  I'm the most active Club Vichy France member in terms of games played.  I played 6 matches from 24 February to 10 April, going 2-4 against Japan, UK twice, Free France, USA, and the Kriegsmarine.
After that I played the Forumini Fantasy Fleet League, going 6-1, winning the regular season title, and finishing fourth in the playoffs.  I lost more then than I did all regular season.
I did a sealed game with First Strike and lost.  I'm 0-1 with a game in progress that I'm leading (need 15 points for victory) in the First Strike Tournament.
In real life I'm doing well at War at Sea.  Since last August I am 29-13 in rated tournaments and I've beaten 3 of the top 4 in the world rankings in ranked tournaments since November.  You can probably guess which one I've not bested. Very Happy
Could any theater clubs use me?  I write this to tell you that you're not just getting the 29-13 guy in real life.  You're not getting just the 7-10 online player.  I think I'm both of these and yet also something in between.  What do your clubs have to offer, and why should I consider yours specifically?
(It's kind of a good idea to let other new members know about what you have also in case they haven't made up their minds, either.)

I suppose this is a good time to show northstars and any other current/prospective clubhouse members the clubhouse wardroom.  The wardroom is full of detailed information about the clubhouse, the clubs, and clubhouse events.  Heres a link:

Each club has their own HQ's to browse at your convenience.  You will find all of the information that you are seeking there.  It sounds like your trying to go to the highest bidder here   Laughing   Your best bet would be to check out each clubs HQ and see which one seems to suit you the best.

cheers

Any club would be lucky to have you! As sub said, find the one that fits you the best. (Although I would like to see the clubs sell themselves too. Wink)

Club KM, of course.  You gotta be the underdog otherwise where is the fun Question  Exclamation  Smile

KM an underdog? He was in ClubVichy. The only more challenging club is Torpy's.

MN, I've noticed you like to use air builds. There is only one choice then, and that would be Club Pacific. Smile

I wouldn't go that far, but I'd like to join an active club where I would feel wanted and welcome.

So far it's only Club Pacific.  Any other ones I should consider?

Phew!

We'd have you, or I'd have you as CIOs only member

Club Frozen Seas is always happy to welcome in new members, but (at the moment) I think CFS has the most active players of any of the clubs. So, if you want to have a wider selection of opponents (and be able to play more club games), joining another club would let you beat up on sublime, fires, Sir_V, Brigs and me as much as you want.

As my best guess for total number of active players the scale would be (from most to least): CFS, ClubMed, ClubPacific, CIO, ClubAtlantic.

With the new rule proposal you won't be limited to only playing the fleets from the club you join, so I'd say pick whatever club has either 1) the members you like the most, or 2) the unit list you like the most (for Global Matches). Wink

In any case, the clubhouse is small and inclusive enough that no matter what club you join, you can always feel free to post in any club thread or any discussion!

We're just happy to have you in the Theater Clubs no matter where you go. Very Happy Welcome aboard!

And if you end up in a club that isn't CFS, I look forward to many a fun (and no doubt challenging) theater match against you!

I'd be glad to have you join if you really want some nerve wraking close wins and crushing defeats. You are always welcome to the pirate club. pirate
