Ugolino Vivaldi's RamSo the Italian destroyer Ugolino Vivaldi moves into a sector with an enemy submarine an "can make an immediate ASW attack" during the Sea Movement phase. Very Cool.
I interpret this (hopefully correctly) to mean that if I lost initiate I can make the attack prior to my opponent's movement.
Does this also mean that the destroyer gets its regular attack phase where it could gun/torpedo or even better make another ASW attack?

You've got it right on both counts. The attack occurs as soon as Vivaldi moves, and it in no way precludes it from making its standard attack at the appropriate later time. Making it a pretty neat unit, if only the ASW attack was a little higher.

Seems to me this would allow the UV to attack multiple submarines in the same movement phase, if it moved into two zones containing enemy submarines.
True?

False. It says "Once per game,"
For what its worth, I don't agree with the FAQ answer to UV's ram vs Run Silent. I put it in the category of people's argument for why non-simultaneous smoke is good.

Actually I think chicklewis means that you could move one space, ram a local sub, contine on one more space containing another sub during the Movement Phase, and then Depth Charge the second sub with ASW during the Surface Attack Phase.
I don't know of any rules preventing it...

Actually I don't think chicklewis said that but he may have meant to say it.
Looking at the card (http://wargamingforums.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/07/wasugolinovivaldistatcard.jpg) it seems to me that during a regular Sea Movement phase I get to make an immediate sub attack should I happen to move my Ugolino into/through a space inhabited by an enemy sub. This is in addition to any other actions taken during the turn such as a normal ASW attack in my Surface Attack phase.
Maybe I'm reading this wrong.

I also read 'once per game' as saying, against one submarine, rather than saying, against all submarines that you can hit in one movement phase. Having it occur in the movement phase is simply another pre-requisite, it is still a once per game attack. So the only way you can attack another sub on the same turn would be with your standard attack in the surface attack phase.

The British Destroyer HMS Gloworm should have also have a ramming SA.
Historically in 1940, it was fighting & losing an uneven battle with the KMS Admiral Hipper diring Germany's invasion of Norway. The battered DD rammed the German CA doing some damage (one hull point) This once per game option should work similiar to the Italian DDs atack on a sub.
Thoughts?

Well, I don't know about the Gloworm, but the U.V.'s SA deals with submarines, whether it should or not. Many people have complained about the U.V.'s Ram SA for not damaging the DD as well as the sub. If you suggest an SA for a DD ramming a cruiser, a different name must be chosen and you might have to stipulate whether the ramming unit is destroyed or just damaged. I can see a DD sacrificing itself to destroy a sub, but there are still too many weapons vs. cruisers to need any help dispatching them, they are still the "lost units". Except Atlanta.
