Ugolino Vivaldi and its Ram....I have used the Ugolino Vivali's Ram ability a couple of times. Today a scenario came up that I am not sure how to resolve. I moved my Ugolino into a sector with a sub, immediately used the ASW attack as is allowed by its special ability and sunk a Truculent. On the Allies sea movement phase he was now able to bring another sub into this sector as he had Initiative and had not moved yet. Can the Ugolino now take another ASW attack during the normal surface attack phase?

yes it can, the Ram attack is a special ability that has no effect on what takes place later in the surface attack phase.

No! Only when the Ugolino move's into the space is it allowed an attack or ( Ram ) with ASW. You could wait and use Asw at normal time if you want but cannot use it twice. At least that's how I understand it, and that is just once per Game. Okie

Sorry, but you are understanding it wrong. Nowhere does it say anything about not being allowed to do both attacks. The Ram is just in addition to the normal attack.

Don't think of Ram as an ASW attack. It's strictly a special ability.
