The Rabbit Run.Here's one to go along with our recent discussion on cruisers.
Special rules:
First turn is at night.
Cruisers, destroyers, and torpedo boats only.
First two rows are used for set-up.
Set-up: Using map No. 6 from the book, set up BOTH fleets in the first two rows on the red side, with a minimum of one sector in between them. Next place the three objectives in the set-up area on the other side of the map, one on each edge and one in the middle.
Victory conditions: take two of the three objectives or sink all of the other player's ships.
This is intended to represent two screening forces bumping up against each other in the dark.

I like that!
Actually, as I mentioned in the Custom Cards section, I'm preparing a scenario based on the Battle of Cape Palos - where precisely this happened. So when I post mine, please don't feel plagiarised if the deployment rules have some things in common with yours

To everyone who's asked me about this one, here it is. Classic short game at our place.

Yeah we do play this one a lot. It is great fun and tends to be a very fast game.
