The "In your base, killin your dudes" FleetProbably will never work, but...
Schleswig-Holstein x2 (42)
Hans Ludemann x2 (16)
U-47 x2 (28)
Bf109 x2 (14)
100 points on the nose. You have to rely on Ludemanns and U-47s to take care of BBs, but S-H should be able to deal with anything below that. Ludemanns and U-47s take care of sub threats, Bf109s provide air cover. Weak on ship-borne AA, but you have to give something up in 100 point builds. Deploy everthing near middle of map, U-47s on their side.
The "Wow" or "Oh $#!+" reaction that you'd get makes me want to field this once...
Thoughts???
Cheers...

I wonder if there's a way to get Koln in there.

You could drop a Ludemann, put the Koln in its place, and switch a U-47 out for a U-510.
We already postulated (in General Discussion) a S-Hx2, one with a Koln, the other with a Savoia. You'd get the Koln one row away from their deployment zone on turn 1! But the "Wow" kind of wears off quickly when it becomes the only thing targetable and gets vaporized on that same turn.
Cheers...

Other elements might be nice too. The new German Torpedoboat for smoke to protect your S-H's would be great as well.

I am only worried about them giving S-H's SA to an allied vessel someday. 2 Alaska's on the loose would be messed up. Not trying to start up that argument again, but I am concerned.

The setup SA is a bit of red herring to me. They have to compensate for the speed 1, and SH did open WWII.
BUT - I agree, its a bit of a slippery slope when units can appear out of nowhere. I'd prefer to give it speed 2, slow 2 (unrealistic I know) but from a gaming perspective it might be a better solution. I dunno - I want to play a few games 1st.

Thankfully, it doesn't appear out of nowhere. It has to be set up at the beginning of the game.
I know it appeared out of nowhere against you in the Deathmatch tournament, but that obviously doesn't follow standard rules. In fact, it's possible that the S-H should be hit with a special rule in Deathmatch to prevent it from appearing out of nowhere.

I like the build. And i agree that the reaction would be totally worth playing it at least once (Against everyone you play with!). Who knows, maybe ull run up against a British air build or something and eliminate surface ships fast!
