Stacking initiative SAs?From FAQ:"Flotilla Leader: This ability does stack with the highest flag rating in the fleet, including the flag ratings of the units with this special ability. Units: Jamaica, Yahagi, San Francisco, Karlsruhe Source: TF FAQ Note: This also clarifies the same possible question about De Ruyter’s Cruiser Leader SA. " The above is from the FAQ. So, is the max initiative bonus +5 (+2 flag plus one +3 flotilla leader) or can more than one flotilla leader be used if you have multiple destroyers? In other words can you stack the flotilla leader SA not counting the same destroyers/cruisers twice? Thanks, |

Where did you get this FAQ? The only one I could find reads: "Q. The USS San Francisco has both the Flagship 1 and Flotilla Leader abilities. If my force consists of the San Francisco and 3 destroyers, do I get a +3 or +4 on my initiative? A. You get a +4. You apply both the Flotilla Leader bonus and your Flagship bonus." It nevers specifies if you can only use the Flotilla Leader bonus with the Flag Rating of that particular unit (if applicable) or if it can added to the highest flag rating in your fleet (potentially a Flag 2), so what you are saying makes sense. I never realized we could combine the Flag Rating from one unit with the Flotilla Leader SA. from another. Nice to know. |

The max you can have is +6. Flag 2 on one ship, Flotilla Leader with 3 destroyers, and DeRuyter's Cruiser Leader.

I totally forgot about the Cruiser Leader SA. I'll have to remember that from now on. Always thought it was +5, which is still pretty hefty. Maybe I'll need to re-consider the De Ruyter in new builds (I'm more of an Axis guy myself). Don't have much experience with Allies builds. Thanks for sharing this. | ||||
