Sniper's and the Cover RuleThe card say on most snipers that, "If this unit has cover it can not be attack by (medium or long) range attacks...
Now I understand cover to be something on the board and on players roll of the d6..
Others arguement is that if the sniper is in a covered available hex, should the sniper have to roll for cover or would the sniper get it without a roll...???
I have ruled in my houserules that the sniper has to roll a d6 in order to get the cover roll.. Does that still stand with most people and that rules of the game???
Yeah for the 1000 user... We have a lot of friends here... When are we going to play a game....... Online.. my movement, your movement...

You cannot attack the sniper at long or medium ranges as per the WoTC official card. The attack will not happen, so the cover roll is not made.
The M8 Greyhound is an exception.

The "having cover" part means that the sniper simply has to be in a hex with terrain that provides cover for infantry (town, marsh, forest, hill etc.). This applies also when the sniper occupies a pillbox.
