RAEVSKI

Nice Scenario Very Happy  just some extra info. the Zigler's brig contained Romanians, 1 motorised Cavalry Regiment (6th Rosiori) and 5th Mechanized Squadron which contained  a  Motocycle Squadron and a R1 tankette Group 5-7 tanks.
Ziglers Brig was Recon elements and other motorised elements stripped from Inf Divisions. There was Not much German armour on this front.

Edited by raevski to put Romanian in from of cav.

Neither the Soviet!

But, for balance play, I prefer some a-historical view, because in the background it's a tournament.

I am bringing my group of players less and less from fantasy WWII to more realistic, but slowly, not to hurt.

Maybe we should also listen these wise words and do the same thing with Wizard of the Coast...
RAEVSKI

I ment to mention that they were Romanian Troops. Romanians played a large part in capturing Sevastopol.

The Romanian were not involved in November 1941. They were use in '42 to '44 as a relieve to the 11th Army.

At this moment, I am also working the integration of FOW. I bought all volume missing to my quest at my birthday 2 weeks ago.

Some of the FOW rules are questionable, but I see the merge between the 2 sets of rules...

Face pace and close historical view.

I love the Hexagon layout of AAM.

Have you tried or see Blitzkrieg the rules?
That would be the perfect match. I've tried them, but it is more dry to some. I would compare it to Advanced Squad Leader, in a lite to medium implementation.

The Romanian Mountain Corp was the Biggest and the Best the Romanian have available.

They were consider Elite troop, but were so ill-equipped that in fact they suffered great loss in the Siege of Sevastopol.

Only the Romanian Cavalry in the Zigler Brig were invovled in the fighting in November, but were pulled out of the fighting in December 26 to head off a Russian counter attack.
The mountain divisions wern't armed with heavy artillary hence had tyo rely on the german artillary. The division was only really a brigade size.[/quote]

Can I have some intel on that, source! I am curious since I chit chat with Mr. Forczyk in the past and never had any info on that. They were not headed to Sevastopol, but more to the East if I recall correctly.

Did you find that in In Deadly Combat: A German Soldier's Memoir of the Eastern Front from Bidermann?
RAEVSKI

Source is "Third Axis, Fourth Ally" Mark Axworthy.
Von Manstein had only 6 Inf Divisions so he approached Antonescu.
Leibstandant Div was taken away from him, his only motorised division.
The Ziegler Motorised Brigade was made out of as much mottoriesed troops as possible including the Khorne Detachment ( 6th Rosiori Reg. about 1 battalion and 5th Mechanised squadron about 1 company of motocycle troops and a detachment of R1 tankettes 5-8).
The other remaining Romanian troops in the area where on coastal protection duties, The Mountain Brigades didn't join in the attack until 17 th december.

Remember-OWS-

Il s'agit de la carte du débarquement offerte en 2006 lors du lancement de D-Day.
general Hoth

merçi bien.
Remember-OWS-

The game was really fun!

The only drawback, we were only 4!!! It was still sanctioned by the DCI rules.

6 rounds were played

2 Major Soviet win,
1 major Wehrmacht win
1 so-so Soviet win
2 By the points Wehrmacht win

I have not finish my only PDF form After action report yet...
bartok

Always, firstable i like to know the original rules of the battle.
I have got the same problem with Sebastopol, Prototype 42: KV-1 Prone to breakdown, with the revision cards comes in 41, can i use it for my 20 initial units? With “prone to breakdown” or without?
If i haven´t got carte du débarquement (can you put a the image), can i select a map of Eastern Front?, Which one for Crimee 1941, start in 3 hexes.
2 MG42 included in the 125 poitns for Axis, it cost me 20 points……..105 left…….or are free.
109 with SA of Ace?
I have to choose 1 Commandant or Spotter for contact with Lutwaffe. If I choose a Commandant with SA Spotter&chating on the Radio?, Only spotter?

Can you traduce all the BATERIE COTIERE points:
I have to choose 2 of 3 (A, B, C)? Can i repeat two B, for example (2x130 mm, 2 Bunker+2 Red Army Observer, 2 Maxim)…….

But again you put Batterie Cotiere or Prototype 42?........one of 2 Baterie and one of 3 Protoype 92?
Choose 1 of group A, and 1 of Group B (Prototype 42), it means if i choose Transport& Artillery, the 1 and 2? Or only de ZIS, PTRD and Degtyarev (2).
Can you clarify me? I´m confuse.
What about support, obstacles, heroes, paratropper, overwatch, new stacking limit?
Remember-OWS-
