Just for the record, my admiral is NOT deployed. It certainly helps to know the rules and format before the tournament starts but I'm finding out you don't even have to deploy your admiral at all so what's the benefit of deploying him? I know if the ship he is on sinks, you lose him, but what is the gain for deploying him?

I don't think you have to do that, we can just draw it on paper and do it that way, no harm, no foul, I just don't want to be doing maps for every game, it becomes a hindrance.
Anyway, post your moves and first air and we'll go from there, just draw a map on paper as best you can, we have the original at the top of page 1 and can just draw it, I did that with packer tim last week and this is only 50 point match, it will be a snap to keep track of.

Two of my favorite opponents. Good luck to both of you. Hopefully neither of you will lose as badly as I did. (I did not help myself with my fleet composition. I had never played such a low point total and it took me by surprise. In retrospect, I would go with a much different fleet.) But it really wouldn't have mattered. When a player hits 3 out of 5 torps( one being a Long Lance and his aa aborts the equivalent of a Dauntless with a 6. Even if I had had an Avenger, it would have been aborted)
In a low point total game, there is no way to overcome those numbers. So, good luck!

I am hoping for some Aqualuck myself with my long lances, that's the only way I have a shot at this game, it's going to be tough. My units are either very small or very big so 50 points doesn't work well for me. If I had a cruiser or two in my fleet, I would have used it but IJN cruisers being so pricey, I can get 2 Yukikaze's for 1 Myoko and they are both just as easy to sink in my opinion.
