Open Back SAText of the "Open Back" SA: | Quote: | | Enemy units can use their anti-Soldier attack values when attacking this unit from behind. |
Question: how many hits do you need to destroy a unit with "Open Back" when you're attacking it from behind? Two hits, like it's a soldier (i.e., you're attacking the crew directly when attacking the open backed unit from behind), or three hits, like it's a vehicle (are you really attacking the vehicle itself when using anti-soldier values)?

Good question Amandil, i believe it is three hits like a vehicle as you are using the vehicles stats to judge the hits by.

Well, he was bound to drop that paratrooper there eventually. Serves me right!
(I wonder if it would be a useful paratrooper deterrent to leave 5 Italian Conscripts spaced two hexes apart to the rear of this Semovente 90? Ten points keeps the paras away!?! )

Raevski's right--you use the AI values, but the armor/hit system remains the same. Well, a paratrooper vs. a Semovente is bad, but not as annoying as when my brother used his Spitfire Ace against my Ho-Ni...
