100 pt. German build

Feedback on the following army will be appreciated:

1 x Messerschmitt Me 262 - 19
1 x StuG III Ausf. G - 19
1 x Elite Panzer IV Ausf. D - 18
1 x Sd. Kfz. 234/2 "Puma" - 17
1 x Grizzled Veteran - 8
1 x SS-Haupsturmfuhrer - 7
1 x SS-Panzergrenadier - 7
1 x Wehrmacht Veteran Infantryman
RAEVSKI

obviously late war.
It seems pretty balanced to me even though it is armour heavy

Looks like you've got plenty of tough infantry.

Seems a bit light in infantry. I'd go with some Panzergreniders... But, that's just me. You know who you'll play against and what they usually roll. What do you expect your opponent to throw against you? That's the bigger question.

I would say drop the SSPG and the Grizzled Vet, and add some Kars or Whermacht vets. If you want to you could get rid of the Stug and add another Puma or 2

No way-I LOVE my StuG III Gs.

I was going to scratch the elite infantry and add a bunch of Mausers and Vets, but I expect to face a Sherman swarm, so I think I need all the 5/5 infantry with high close assults that I can get.

Thanks for all the feedback guys.

Heh... got Stuka? peel off the 262, and Puma, and add the Stuka and what ever units that have a high CA value. If you know that you are going to face a Sherman swarm.  Or if you have a Panther.... Now that would be nice!
Cpt. John Miller

I disagree. If you're gonna go with lightly armored AT then you will need some solid AA to cover them. Looks good to me but you might consider a Mess. Ace instead of the 262 which would allow you to upgrade the EP IV to something more survivable...

Thanks again for all the feedback.

No way I'm going with a Stuka instead of a 262--if I run into something like a Mustang, not only will the Stuka be clobbered, but I will also have a rocket-laden plane zipping around and attacking my weak armor.

@Cpt. Miller--yeah, I see what you're saying, and I originally did not have an Elite Pz. IV D in the build. However, I found an effective strategy to be using the StuG and the Pz. IV to disrupt/damage most of his armor in the first turn (esp. if he's Russian--but I'm just hoping) and then the Puma can use SAF 2 along with the survivors of my initial armor (if anyone) to mop up the rest.

Well then why go with a Aircraft at all? Do you have a Flak Panzer? You could use it as a double role, Anti-air and Anti-soldier.
