Statting for Iwo Jima Scenario

I'm trying to design a scenario involving the battle for Iwo Jima.  The major question that I have is how to stat the island itself, given its defenses.  Should it be broken up into different sectors, or statted as one unit?  What should the gunnery be?  What should the range be?  What should the armor be?  Any help is appreciated.  Thanks.
