Killer ComboHere is part of Build I Used Last Night.
-1x T-34/76
-1x 82mm PM-37 Mortar
-1x Red Army Forward Observer
The Rest was a Healthy mix of infantry and Anti Tank Guns.
I kept the 82mm Mortar tucked away and heavily guarded on my end of the map. The Forward Observer was transported in the T-34. I then let the beast (T-34) loose. It dealt nicely with the enemy vehicles as the spotter called in Indirect fire from the Mortar, any time an enemy Soldier got to close. They had help of corse, but these three units did the most damage, I found it Surprisingly effective.
The Result was a solid victory in my favour. I will admit that my opponent was not very experienced with AAM, and this build will not work well against certain enemy builds. But still Victory is Victory.
(You can use the Spotter for indirect fire when he is in transport right??? If you can't it will break my heart )

it's an underhanded move and my crew and i banned it but take 3 or 4 M1 81mm Mortar squads and hide them in the back. drop in a few screaming eagles right next to your enemy and let the mortars loose. with the improved indirect fire any american unit can call in attacks not just spotters. planes work for this too.
now the real shady part is when you place a commissar and a few 2 point units (Kuomintang Riflemen, Fortress Defender...) right next to the mortars and use the commissar's Bravery Enforcement. this allows your mortars to hit with 4's or higher. it will distory any infantry on the board.

That is crafty, you need to play more and use your imagination to get the most out of your games, I am referring to me not anyone else I never would have thought of anything along those lines...

Wierd but effective. But either every plan has a weakness, or you have an even build which can't do much.
