I need a break from the devestation I cause with the Veteran Tigers in deathmatches. We decided we were going to have a 1943 battle with a 200 point limit. I am taking on the USSR and using Germany. Keep in mind he tends to field all the armor he can while playing as the USSR, and disperse any left over points on whatever he can afford. I am predicting 5 T-34/76s and 1 SU-85. I am unsure about the 2 Elite Panzers, I just don't know what tank(s) to replace them with if I do... but here's the current build:

Panther Ausf. D - 35 (x2)
StuG III Ausf. G - 19
Elite Panzer IV Ausf. D - 18 (x2)
Junkers JU 87G Stuka - 21 (x2)
Ammo Dump - 10
Panzerfaust 30 - 5 (x3)

I think you should consider the Pz IV F2 over both the Elite PzIV and the Panters, and combine it all with a single Elefant. The Elefant is a killer just like the Veteran Tiger. Only its tougher and has better range (doesnt do so well against infantry and aircraft though). And the Pz IV F2's also have a range advantage over the Russian tanks.

I wouldnt bother with Stukas. Me262's and a Messerschmidt Ace would suffice as well. Both are pretty capable of silencing the Sturmovich, Katushas, Mortars and any AT gun he can bring (if he will).

Fill in with an Ammo Dump and some infantry and you'll be fine.

What's funny is my first build attempt at this did have an Elefant! The only problem I have with the Panzer IV's is that they can't take much of a beating, and it's come back to bite me on numerous occassions, but I've yet to field the new III 19 pointers...

I just acquired a second Panther D, and was told by M2A0 on the official boards that the SS-Panther G is getting recosted to 42 points in the new update... So that's more options to integrate. I thought I was crazy to put in an Elefant, but now that you've recommended it too, I think I just might.... I do like having a Stuka or 2 when taking on medium Russian armor because they really can't stop it from blowing them up. Here's 2 other variants I may try:
