I HAVE A DOUBT ABOUT PBY CATALINA !!Hello everybody!! First of all excuse me for my poor English...
I have a doubt about an US plane: CATALINA. I can not understand the special abilitie it has (shadowing). Could someone explain me how does attack this plane? Must I put it in the same sector that the ship I want to attack or can I put it within range 2 (avoiding air defense)?

within range 2. ALL the planes that you own will then get the bonus when attacking the target ship (if they are able to attack it of course).
Tip: "aircraft" can be both singular and plural. We say "one aircraft", "two aircraft", etc. It doesn't take an "s". I think that's what confused you in the text of the card  .

Please note, the previous response correctly instructs you how to use the shadowing ability. However, to use this aircrafts attack values you must have it in the same sector as the ship or sub you want to attack, just like any other aircraft.

That really clears things up. My son and I just started playing tonight, and I could not figure out how the Shadowing ability worked. Thanks for the help guys!
