New game - 1-48 Combat - Squad level Battle of Stalingrad

Just saw this a couple weeks ago and we are getting interested. Squad level Battle of Stalingrad. 32mm miniatures. Models look very cool. You can download the rules (1 page!) and character cards on their website to check it out if interested.

(Sorry if this should be posted elsewhere. Figured more people would see it here and respond.)

i will have to move it, i will leave a shadow so people can still see it here.

looks quite interesting.

Unfortunately not enough time or money to get into it right now. Maybe if it is still around down the road.

If they were pre-painted troops I might consider it a little more.

Wonder if they'll have tanks down the road?

They have them now. That's why they went 1/48, there's several models in that scale.

I've seen a good selection of 1/48 at my hobby star. Some nice looking kits, quite a few from Tamiya.

It does look good. Cool

has anyone tried it?

It's being play-tested now. On the 1-48 website they have a link to a yahoo group where they are communicating until they get a 24 hour moderated site set-up. They announced two additional characters, one each for the Germans and Soviets. As well, they are creating a scout with a dog which assists with recon and can be directed to attack. I think this sounds very cool! It looks like the official game release is coming in October.

Finally a set of rules that I can modify to use with my Halo Clix figures.

Thanks for the link. Cool

You still have to paint those, havent you?
NoMoreHexes

Yes General, they are not pre-painted. The reviewer displays his paint jobs which look pretty nice to me (but I'm not much of a painter myself). Once he posts his game play review I will link that as well.
