New 3 player game scenarioEnded up with 3 of us tonight for game night. Couldn't decide on A&A Pacific or what to do so we went with War at Sea. I was telling one fella about the Jean Bart story and ended up reading the odd stories of the Richelieu and Dunkerque when the other guy came up with a great idea.
We played a 1941 scenario with three 175 point navies each fighting for themselves. Had the Italians, British, and French. The French fleet under an indecisive Admiral were defending a North African port bottom center of the board and both the other fleets were coming to land there from the top corners. The Port was worth 150 points, kills face value (when I sunk the Hood it got me 48 points)
I had two A&A infantry on the port in defense. The Italians and Brits each got to use portions of their fleet builds to buy transports full of landing troops. "Good" fighting Nordmark types get to carry 2 attack die worth of units (2 infantry) where the cruddy Brits get the U.S. transports that carry 6 die worth of folks but move slower.
Ended up not playing the best strategy for the French but we came in second and had a chance to win if this Italian Battleship didn't vital the Dunkerque while the Dunkerque and the Richeleau were backing out of the battle and taking pot shots at the Italian ship.

sounds pretty cool. So if I'm reading this right, Nordmark can carry 2 troops while the JOB can carry 6?

More or less correct. Somehow my buddies and I have made it more complicated. The Nordmark carries 2 infantry, the JOB can carry 6 infantry or 3 infantry and a tank.
Them darn Nordmarks move faster and ended up shooting at the JOBs after dropping off their infantry.
