John Prados' Berlin 45

It was published a few years ago by Against all odds. It's a simulation of the last few days of the battle of berlin. Gorgeous map, complicated battle rules but with a great feel. I've just read an article about it on boardgamegeek and feel like dusting off my copy.
Has anyone played it Question

If I could find some hard core board gamers, I would love wip out of some my old school Board games. Word Iin Flames, Advance Third Reich, Squad leader and such.

I've played World in Flames back in the late '80... 4 days in a row, 8 guys... girlfriend passing buy just to see if nobody was injure ... intense discussion and battle... what a Game...

They are gorgeous... WOW.
No the same for the counters Doh!!!

You own the Game GH?
If so, what is the size of each hex?
general Hoth

Yes i've got it. the hexes are small, probably the size of a squad leader hex.
It's true that the counters are not that good, plus there's too much info on them. But after a while you get used to it.
Someone said on boardgamegeek that this is a game that's worth a facelift.
Despite being cumbersome in some ways it plays well once you've understood the mechanics.

I have the Avalanche Press 3rd edition of John Prados's Third Reich.  I also have the Great War in the Pacific companion game, but I don't have the room to play the Pacific game.   That's my problem in playing World in Flames too, which I also have.

Unless you've been asking her about her dress shopping, you could probably sneak one more game in.
general Hoth
