Initiative StackingNot sure if this has been asked... and I'm pretty sure the answer is yes but:
With three accompaning DDs you can get Floatilla Leader +3 (USS S.F.) which will stack w/ Destroyer leader +1 (USS Phelps) which will stack w/ Cruiser Leader +1 (DeRuyter), add in a Flag 2 from any number of Allied BBs = +7 initiative modifier from 6 ships.... Correct?

That sounds correct. The only things that don't stack are SA's of the same name.
Now we will wait to see if the New Jersey gets Flag 3.

I've never seen any absolute cap on initiative referred to before, though for many single nations, and in fact for an axis navy (which doesn't have access to the destroyer/cruiser leader SA's) the upper limit that it is possible to achieve is five.

5 was the max until Flanks Speed came out...

I thought 6 was the max until Flank Speed came out:
Flag 2
Flotilla Leader with 3 DDs
Cruiser Leader with one other cruiser
With Flank Speed you can have 7 with Destroyer Leader plus the previous.
I do not ever remember reading where Initiative was capped at a certain value. I try to stay up on all the rules, but some skip by me every now and then.

Yeah, I'm thinking that five was a 'practical' maximum rather than a rule. Though, of course, if anyone can find something that points to a ruling, I'd be grateful.
