I beat the French playing this German 200 point build!I didn't expect to do it either, not without an 88:
Anti-Vehicle Units:
1x Elite Panzer IV Ausf D = 18
2x Panzer IV Ausf E = 28
2x Panzer III Ausf F = 26
1x PzKpfw 38(T) = 10
1x PAK 35/36 = 5
Anti-Infantry Vehicles:
1x sIG = 15
2x Panzer II Ausf F = 16
1x SdKfz 222 Armoured Car = 6
1x SdKfz 251 Halftrack = 7
Anti-Infantry Soldiers:
1x SS-Haupsturmfuehrer = 7
2x Wehrmacht Veteran Infantrymen = 10
1x Flammenwerfer = 5
2x LEL G18 = 14
1x Wehrmacht Expert Sniper = 11
1x Sandbagged Machine Gun = 12
1x Light Mortar = 5
1x BMW Motorcycle = 5
(I must have miscounted or forgotten something else, because that appears to add up only to 194 points.)
Anyway, I was facing 1x Char Bis, 2x Somuas, 2x Renaults (or were they proxied in as Hotchkisses?), and 2x Panhards + 11x MAS Riflemen, 3x Alpine troops, about 4x Lebels, 2x Officers, 2x MGs, and more (like a stinkload of pillboxes, barbedwire, tank traps etc.)
My opponent "played as a Frenchman," which meant his infantry was spread about in different parts of the board (we had two different objectives) and his tanks were not massed together either. A few lucky rolls meant that I didn't take hardly any casualties after turn one, and I only lost one tank (one of the P4s) over the course of the game while wiping out all his armour! Kind of uncanny, actually.
