The concept was introduced at the 1936 Paris air show. Caused quite an uproar. Was nicknamed 'the Reaper' by the press, because of its big number of machineguns.
16 march 1937 the first Prototype (G.1) flew in Eindhoven.
They were entered into service 1st and 9th of September 1939, with the 4th and 3rd Fighter group. Those were the G.1A variant, with better engines.
You should probably just digest it to a single (1A) variant.
The Danes were building some G.1A's under license in 1940, but they werent finished in time to fight the German invasion.
A number were built for the Spanish but they were hardly finished : 3 were pressed into service with hastily fitted machineguns. Most were captured by the Germans. The Germans used these captured ones as trainers for Me110 pilots.
