Here is a fun Soviet army I used against my only local opponent;

IS-2 Model 1944
82mm PM-37 Mortar
Fanatical Sniper
Hero of the Soviet Union
Commissar

It is exactly 100 points. The IS-2 is very hard to killed and was THE thorn in David's side. The mortar did me almost no good as it died two or three turns into the game. The sniper was very useful in hunting down David's officer and sniper (yes, sniper on sniper). He did eventually wear down the IS-2 with some lucky die rolls and it was down hill from there. But, it was a lot of fun.

Lokks like a fun build, not sure how much objective contesting power it has though.

Hi,
Last night I took out the mortar and replaced it with; Soviet Grenadiers X1, Degtyarev DP-27 X1 and Communist Partisans X1. It has good objective contesting power. The IS-2 alone gave David fits.
