Evil Cheesy German-Italian 400pt Build (no limits)6x Schleswig-Holstein -- 126pts
3x Prinz Eugen -- 51pts
3x Köln -- 33pts
3x Eugenio di Savoia -- 39pts
3x Z20 Karl Galster -- 24pts
2x Graf Zeppelin -- 36pts
13x Bf-109 -- 91pts
Total: 400pts on the nose.
Strategy:
Pair an Eugen with 3 of the SH's, a Galster with the other 3. Put one of each pair behind each objective (so SH-PE & SH-KG at each obj).
Pair each Köln with each Eugenio. Establish Screen, Lead the Attack.
Turn one, move the Kölns to each obj, move the PEs to each obj, move the Galsters to each obj. Move each SH to adjacent to each obj.
Move GZ's up towards center.
Put 4 109's over each obj, place the 13th wherever.
You now have a decent shot of taking at least one objective, and a good shot of taking all 3 depending on how many hits he can land (he has to kill your Köln....and with 7/7/7/7/7/6/5 in each obj square for AA, that's going to be hard with aircraft)
thoughts?
Maybe change out 109 #13 with a Stuka or a Kondor?

ER 4 or 5 BBs makes this build useless because you WILL lose at least one Koln, and against a UK or US BB build your cruisers and 'baby's first battleship are not going to last more then 3 rounds.

Sounds kinda mean But it is kinda true...

Eh, not necessarily unless you're in the camp of "US BBs kill everything". Which they don't. And even if you lose 1 Koln, you still have 2 objectives taken. And with the torpedoes from the Galsters and Hippers, and supporting gunfire from the SH's......and even the GZ's you stand a good chance of racking up enough points for a win by killing cruisers and DD's and carriers. The torps and SH's can even threaten the almighty BB's.
And that all depends on if he can even manage to sink even one of your Koln's on turn one.
Oh and Hans, Tincan seems to think no axis build has a chance against the US....take that as you will when considering this.
This is by no means a perfect build, but it's meant to exploit (in an unlimited game) what is essentially a chance for an "instant win" for the Axis. At 500 points you can even throw in some T-27s and use smoke to make your Koln's even more survivable. In fact, at 500 points you can have the following (and take out the 13th 109):
9x SH
3x T-27
3x Karl Galster
3x Prinz Eugen
3x Koln
3x Eugenio
2x Graf Zeppelin
1x Nordmark
12x Bf-109
3x Kondor
With the added stacking bonus at 500 points + the Galster....you can have up to 8 AA attacks in each sector (4 ships, 4 planes) and then, if you lose initiative, you can use the T-27s to smoke and increase your Koln's survivability by one helluva lot.
You may even get lucky and remove ER from the BB's with the Kondors.

At 500 points, Nine USS Clevelands, with Improved Radar would pretty much guarantee that none of the Kolns would survive past the first turn to claim an objective, even if you brought smoke. Personally, I would bring six of those and a few giant battleships; and in a large game, USS Arizona, with Inspire to Victory, would have a field day against all of those old Schleswig-Holsteins.

No their are some(if not many)axis builds that stand a chance against the US, but yours doesn't stand a chance against any BB build US, UK, French, hell even 3 October Revolutions could spell doom for your build.

If you loose the Prinz Eugens and take 6 T-27 instead they could creat a smoke screen in front of the objectives blocking line of site from BBs, and then all you have to do is protect your Kolns from enemy air.

That of course is another problem.

The build is pretty unique, but any German build that isn't using subs in some way just seems to be missing one of their key pieces.
