Dismounting a Disrupted TransportI'm sure this question has been asked before, but searching for the same question isn't terribly straightforward.
Thus, one more time: If a soldier dismounts from a disrupted transport, is that soldier disrupted too once it's out of the transport?
Heck, it just dawned on me that maybe it can't dismount a disrupted transport, because - the soldier is disrupted when it's in the disrupted transport, and
- you can't move when you're disrupted, and
- dismounting counts as a movement
Augh!

Ummm... yeah it can.
1. The soldier in the vehicle is not disrupted... even once it jumps out of said vehicle. Where did you get that idea?

Maybe from HHR Here it is:
- While moving on a vehicle with Exposed transport (like a truck or a tank), when the vehicle gets face-down disruption the soldier dismounts disrupted (face-up).
- While moving on a vehicle with Transport (i.e. inside), the soldier remains unaffected until the vehicle receives face-down damaged counter. Then see above.
In both cases, when the vehicle is destroyed, the soldier is destroyed on a roll of 1-3, otherwise it receives a face-down disruption (they run away from the wreck and take a pause afterwards). The same with vehicle crew, if you play with that variant.

Perhaps, in the future, when someone wants an HH Rule clarified, they should specify that first.
As the rule stands in the official rules, the unit in the transport is not disrupted and it can still dismount.

Exactly, in offical rules there is no such penalty. BTW what about destroyed transport?

Umm, since units can only dismount in the Movement phase, the only way a transport would be destroyed is by an Overwatch or Defensive Fire Shot, the unit transported may NOT dismount when the unit is instantaneously destroyed.

I wasn't asking for an HHR clarification, but my 'on second thought maybe...' (key word being maybe) seems to have arisen from me reading an HHR card once in my life!
So, basically nothing happens to a unit inside a disrupted transport? It can embark & disembark without any problems, it's not disrupted after it disembarks...
...if the unit is on a disrupted transport with fighting platform, does that mean it can attack without penalties whereas the transport itself would only hit on 5s & 6s?
If so, nice.

The Disruption on the transport does not affect the passenger in any way, in regular AAM.

Wait, what? the transport doesn't get a penalty because the trooper in the transport is Fighting Platform... fairly certain.
