Aquarius

I'm surprised Seisen didn't enter anything.
Sink the Bismark

Probably it's unfair to vote for panzerpainter but that jeep is AWESOME!
Shank77

Nice work on that jeep!
panzerpainter

Nice work submitted by everyone! One hundred forty-some views, but only 17 votes for all entries?
Rut-N-Strut

Well I would have voted, but to be honest with you, as much as im in this forum, this is the first time I have seen this. Embarassed  oh well I will be more aware next time. Congrats panzerpainter!!!

It just seemed stange that the thread would be viewed so many times, but only 1 in 10 views voted (for anyone). Then it struck me, DUH - people dropping back in to see how the vote was going probably bumped the "views" up. Also maybe people just dont want to take sides, too. Afterall, all the mods I see are quite nice. I like the ships with thier inking/highlighting very much. The Brumbar is an excellent camo scheme, and the planes are very attractive.

Probably people like me who did not want to commit right away and had to look a few timew, and I believe everytime anyone checks back it counts as a view, so I am sure our contestants have checked a few times.

Anyway congratulations to all, not an easy choice.
Nalleman

It was a very hard choice, but my vote goes for Celt. Every mod was awesome. We have lots of talented people in this Forum.
WarGamerX

Reminder to vote.
Okie

They are all good!! It's very hard to vote for just one. Can we use an old American custom and stuff the ballet box or just vote for all? please, pretty please
Duck Crusader

Just couldn't resist the jeep mod. Awesome stuff everyone. and a really hard choice!
Cpt. John Miller

I voted for the Brummbar. Panzerpainter is a pro and will likely win, but I prefer mods of pieces actually in the game.

Just glad to be here

Thank you all for entering the contest, and viewing, and voting. Nice minis by all. But I just got a reminder of how fleeting a good time can be.
I just woke up and went downstairs, I found my son asleep in his bed, and the mattress was glowing orange. As I yelled at him "Sean, wake up, your F****** bed is on fire" it burst into a flame (yes, he was smoking in bed). I woke everyone up, and we formed a bucket brigade and had to dowse the mattress with 12x 10 gallon buckets and we still could not put it out. We had to drag the flaming smokey mattress up the stairs and toss it outside. 5 more minutes, and I would have lost my son, and perhaps my entire family & pets. If it were not for my sons cat going crazy to get out of the house, I probably would have slept longer (a lot longer).
All the disasters I had in December & January were almost enough to land me in the looney bin. But I knew it could have been worse. It almost just got "that" worse.
I am just sooooooo glad to even be here now. Maybe in a week or two, my heart will stop racing.
After we got it outside, we turned the hose on, and soaked it for 5 minutes. 10 minutes later, the mattrress was sooooooo hot, it steamed all the water out and re-ignited on our wooden wheelchair ramp to the house, and we almost burned the house down from the OUTSIDE.
....
EGADS !!!!!
Celt

Holy crap, dude! Egads is right.

Glad everyone's ok.
panzerpainter

My wife (after everything calmed down a bit) started to make that uber-stinky corned beef & cabbage stuff. Normally the smell makes me upset to my stomach (thank goodness it tastes better than it smells) but it is actually a blessing to have the smell of that nasty cullenary delight to cover up the even worse smell of a toasted mattress. Yu know the smell a cigarette makes when it burns down to the filter? Now amplify that by 10,000.
Right about now, I would prefer the smell of a ton of cattle-poo dumped in the house, as opposed to the smell thatr mattress made. Thank goodness for corned beef & cabbage! Woohoo!

(in best Homer Simpson voice:) Mmmmmm, stiiiiinky caaaabbage.......
The_lucky_Y

rost a pan full of onion rings to cover that smell.....
NeuralDream

Brilliant job all of our artists, and a well-deserved victory for Panzerpainter. Not much considering your bad luck these last months, but I hope it will bring you a smile.

Points towards the forumini olympics:

Panzerpainter 7
Celt 5
Aquarius 4
EvilKobra 4
MadGhost 2
Lucky_Y 2
Celt

Panzerpainter, dude, great work! Congratulations.

Good work everybody. This was fun.  Smile
panzerpainter

Thanks all! It was great fun. I dont know if I will try any other of the "olympic games" though, since I really dont know much about A&A rules. Maybe you can split up my points between the others? Or give mine to Celt?
Everythings OK here. At least THIS disaster will come out of my Son's pocketbook, and all that was lost was a mattress (and a day of really, really, smelly house).
