commander/hero transport house ruleThought of this house rule the other day.
Any unit with a transport ability of any kind can transport one commander or one hero in addition to whatever transport capacity the unit may already have.
My rationale here is threefold: 1. Commander and hero units only represent one person, whereas other infantry units represent multiple people, so I don't see why they can't just hitch a ride; 2. Makes using transport vehicles more worthwhile, especially when it comes to crappy little units like the SD KFZ 2 Motorcycle Halftrack the Germans have. I figure the BMW R75 motorcycle should also get this bonus; 3. Mobile infantry now pack more punch, which in general should make the game more interesting.

Heroes are one-person units. But the commanders are not. They are better thought as platoon HQs (note their 4/4 defence; had they been one-person units, they will be 3/3 like the snipers). And the German motorbike unit is fully loaded; it won't have a room for an extra person. So you have to rethink your houserule.
I think this thread should be moved to the "AAM Custom Cards" subforum.
