Here are my sample builds for British army in Northern Africa

Tips: Bofors AA is deadly for everything except heavier tanks. Together with 25 pdrs battery or heavy 4,2" mortars there is not much left work to do after they fire. Leave your tanks at home when playing against Germans. Get your veteran infantry on objectives quickly and dug in.
4x 17/25 pdrs for 325 points are more valuable than 3x Shermans, because they are Conf.Vet., can dug in (get 2 armor saves with their gun shields) and with AT 13 they can save the day against Tigers (one wreck will cost your friend 385 pts, two form half of his army with 770 b - so do not expect you will see Tigers here as often as in AAM).
Personally I like Churchill tank, but it is rather an expensive vehicle to drive. Tanks with 2pdr guns are hopeless, useful only against even more hopeless Italians.

(750 b armies in our house rules follow 600 b exceptions - i.e. you are not requested to have at least 2 basic platoons).
