Boys .55 ATR

Max Effective Range 300m.
Length 162 cm
Weight 16.3 kg
Calibre 0.55 in (13.97 mm)
Magazine 5 round box
Muzzle Velocity 990 metres per second
Theoretical Armor penetration 21 mm

I can't suggest stats, because I haven't seen the tanks yes, but some info that you may need:

This unit can kill easily a
Pz38t (engine at the back and sides of turret, but not at all from the front), so front defense should probably be equal to this unit's attack at range 0-1 and higher at range 2+.

PzII (back of turret, but not other places), so back defense should be lower than unit's attack at range 0-2 and equal at range 3.

SdKfz232 (side and back), so side and back defense should probably be below this unit's attack at range 0-2 and equal at range 3.

So, IF a Pz38t is at 3/2, then I think that the Boys .50 ATR would get

Antivehicle
0-1: 3
2-3: 2

Antiinfantry I don't know.

I don't know about defense.

I once had lunch with an officer from the KRRC and he told me that the Boys was the single worst piece of equipment he ever saw in his career.  I neglected to ask for specifics, but it should be the worst ATR.

UK and Belgium.

Some kind of British Armored car, maybe a Marmon Herrington, used the Boys ATR as a main armament, Also some Bren's were armed with them, for grins here's the Russian ATR stats, some consider it to be the best of the ATR's.

Anti-Tank Rifles Shell Type Penetration at 100 meters
14.5 mm P.T.R.S. A.P. 38 mm
14.5 mm P.T.R.D. A.P. 38 mm
The P.T.R.D. is a semi-automatic version of the P.T.R.S. anti-tank rifle. Both weapons were also employed for long-range sniping out to 3000 or 4000 metres, using a modified telescopic sight. Typical crew consisted of two men, gunner and loader. The loader was armed with a PPSh SMG for close defence.

Some more info:
The Boys ATR Mk.I had 70% probability to penetrate 16mm at 100 yards.
In war the probabilities are typically half. So, 35% to penetrate defense 2. This means 4 dice at range 0-1, 3 at range 2 and 2 at range 3, right?. The Boys ATR Mk.II was just marginally better. 70% to penetrate 19mm at 100 yards.

Boys ATR Mk.I
0-1: 4 dice antivehicle
2: 3 dice
3: 2 dice

Boys ATR Mk.II
0-1: 4 dice antivehicle
2: 3 dice
3: 3 dice

It was used by British, NZ, Australian, Canadians, Chinese, Greeks
The Chinese modified it as an experimental sniper weapon (rechambered for .50BMG rounds).

The Finns used the Mk.I as 14 mm pst kiv/37 during the Winter War and the Continuation War.

The Finnish 14 mm pst kiv/37 one (with MkI stats):

0-1: 4 dice antivehicle
2: 3 dice
3: 2 dice

Defense? 3/5?

We can't use them though. The one is too small and the other has text on it. We can use the following one though for the British card for the Mk.II:

The text needs to be cropped out of course.
Sharpe

You can't remove the letters?

I've got a lot of smaller pictures in my old files.  I cna't tell the size until they pop out.  I'm tracking down larger versions.

From inside the photo it's very time-consuming.

Nice finds! Especially the Canadian Mk.I is superb. Btw, have you ever seen the Disney movies that article refers too?

And one more
Sharpe

No.  Never knew it existed until I saw the pic ten minutes ago.
