With a bunch of submerged shots coming off and a crucial surface attack as well I'll nominate the I19 after my game with herky
firesdstny

Scharnhorst

In a CFS vs. CA match, Scharny's SECONDS finished off Repulse after hitting it (with Gneis and Tirp) with mains the previous turn.  Its mains then turned on Warspite and delivered another strike!  It's AA was hot all game as well and it accounted for or contributed to the destruction of 5 ships and 2 aircraft as well as claiming an objective and finishing off a Swale for the winning points.

Admiral Scheer - last man standing
kid360

I just had a strafing Veltro make it through the AA of Repulse, Hawkins, and Ledbury (they were distracted by my Sparv) and rolled 3 dice at Ledbury. When I submitted it, I thought about how crazy it would be to hit 3 sixes and even up this match a bit (my fleet vs Repulse? no way). And then there is was: my 3 sixes. Best. Italian. Fighter. Ever.
Flakstruk

None for my last but I bet the Bande Nere makes it for kid360

You'd be correct in that assumption. Had kills on, by my memory, 2 DD's, 1 CL, hits on 2 other CLs. Captured an objective second turn. Loving this unit for the RM.

Giving some quick props to Admiral Hipper.

Admiral Scheer and Admiral Hipper rolled up close and personal on Royal Oak.  Scheer took the broadside and went down fast, but Hipper stood tall.  She came through in the clutch catching Royal Oak with Boxcars on the torpedo roll at Point Blank range.
nrnstraswa

I'm impressed with Belfast's performance thus far, damaged a GZ and crippled Karl Galster while surviving what might have been a vital from Tirpitz at range 2.
Flakstruk

Belfast and Hipper updated

I added a extra star for hipper for my match v Brigman and Bagleys for the Bagley for my gave v swo
Flakstruk

Would like to put 2 ships up today

The Kongo for a r3 vital on a concealed Massachusetts

And the Princeton for a vital on a fw190.
Flakstruk

Bump
Flakstruk

I'm nominating the Beveziers, scored an early hit on the Hagaro but the rest of the fleet couldn't capitalise, and finished her off later on
Brigman

Tough to single out a single ship from a fun and different fleet I tried out, but I'd have to give it to IJN Fubuki.  Claiming an objective, crippled, alone and unafraid whilst surrounded by subs while just out of gun range of the enemy, was a cool moment.
firesdstny

Almost didn't get to put one here, but I'm going to nominate Caio Dulio.  Picked up a critical vital on Massachusetts and put some damage on South Dakota before being vitaled in return.
squint181

Soyuz was a beast for the Soviets vs IJN.  Two Kates splashed, and aborted Judy.  Two hits on the Fuso, the second of which was a vital.  Also two secondaries hits on the Zuikaka.  All in three rounds mind you.

And I might add this was the first time I have ever brought her into battle.  Shocking I know.
Doberman

1st time using the FWD Airstrip properly.

Corsair based there and Hellcats too.

When presented with DD's trying to make a high speed run, they come in handy...

I like it a lot more now that I know what to do with it!
Brigman

Tough call to nominate only one unit from the battle, but I'd have to give it to the B5N2 Type-97 Attack Bomber.

BTW, are we only supposed to nominate if we win?
firesdstny

Wasn't an online battle, but I have to put in a nomination for Admiral Scheer.

Scheer monstered up for me on the table-top today.  Across 4 games (core of fleet had to stay the same) she hit PoW three times from long range (once while crippled), Vitaled a Victorious, killed Repulse once, scored at least one torp hit, killed several DD's, and assisted in capturing at least one objective.   Across those games she was mined once, torpedoed twice, hit a few times but never vitalled by either Repulse or PoW.  A definite dyed-in-the-wool killer.

Updated one for the Provence - ER4ing the heck out of the Saratoga after wobbling through six turns without a scratch and settling the match in the process

Can't add anything for my other games lately. Very average
Brigman

Got to nominate Kongo for a game against the Soviets.  Not only did she survive the whole battle, she wreaked havoc with her secondary and tertiaries against enemy DDs.
firesdstny

It's kind of a no-brainer when a ship does exactly as it is intended to, but I have to throw in for Camica Nere.  I had one Cami drop an unboosted torp followed up with a successful gunnery shot to finish off Yahagi on the same turn another Cami put the coup de grace on a crippled Nachi with its guns and lightly damaged Atago with it's torp (boosted).

Two DD's.  4/4 attacks = 3 dead Cruisers (including 2 heavy hitters).  14 points taking down 50.  One of the Camis is even guaranteed to survive the return fire.
....
On the previous turn Camis put a torp into Haguro and did gunnery work against a Terutsuki, Fubuki, and Isokaze.  Not as successfully, but still...they paid for themselves over and over and over in this matchup.
Flakstruk

Going to jump in straight to it and nominate the Vindicator, yes the Vindicator: With an EB2 boost she put a vital on the Ranger rather exploding when encountering a head wind

Also Algerie for a last man standing performance against SWO
Flakstruk

Hard to pick the best for my game v brigs - all my units performed well just not well enough. The Bev racked up a few hits and gets the nod.
Brigman

Got to give it to the I-19, although that was as much luck as anything.  Still, 3 hits out of 3 torpedo dice deserves something.
firesdstny

Give a medal out for Roma:

In my match with Doberman she vitalled an unhit Arizona, put 2 hits including the killshot on Nevada, basically killed Ranger by herself with small guns fire, claimed an objective and splashed 1 dauntless naturally with AA, with another one later going into the drink trying to press her.

In comparison Marcantonio did next to nothing and Vittorio soaked up some damage without delivering any hits of note.
Doberman

Crippled Scheer throwing 4 6's = 8 successes against the South Dakota was pretty spectacular.

Also and No surprise, New Jersey ER5 vital on a 16 vital Russian behemoth of a BB. Kronsaya.
SeaAngel

The "Flying Battleship"  IL-2M Sturmovik.  Lost two ships to two of them in the first turn and could have resigned then.

One for the Beveziers from me, nearly finished the Nelson off v Tricki more than could be said for the rich that game
Also a honourable mention for the Strasbourg for a couple of games.
Flakstruk

Vindi might get another nod in my latest game. Hitting the Gnes off 7 dice
firesdstny

Vindi should get a nod for my game with Doberman.  He has some USN Vindi's and an unboosted one vitaled Caio Dulio  6 6's and a 5.  Sad
kid360

Gotta hand it to the Seafire from my game vs gman75. It hit 4 times with EO and was never aborted. Killed a Gromkiy on a high speed run to my subs, and prevented Baku from capturing the winning objective.

Also, an anti commendation to Vanguard for not being able to hit THE LARGEST SHIP AFLOAT! Screw you, Soyuz!

Joke aside, gman's Soyuz was a workhorse during our match and deserves recognition.
Doberman

AUDACIOUS ATTACKS FROM BODACIOUS BARBS!

Half way down, just after the map, the fun begins.

Been a bit lax here. Anyway

Against Squint - the Alsace for dropping a Kron in the last round with a shot that would have doomed the SS and turned the game.

Against Azrael - Vindivators for the hard yards to sink the Gnes

Against Avor - Strasbourg for a first shot vital on the Phoenix, the only above average shot we had all game
SeaAngel

In a recent game against Flak the Avengers were the only units to consistently make hits.  2 of them dispatched Taiho, 2 I-19s, and got 2/3s of the hits that finished off Shinano.
Solomiranthius

Arkhangelsk x2!

Not an online game, but had two of them vital two other BBs in the same match during the same turn for the win - Dunkerque and Alsace (and survive multiple torpedoes tossed in their direction).

Hats off to Algerie (vitalled an Okt Rev) and Molotov (two torp hits in one game - one to sink Strasbourg).
Flakstruk

Does anyone else want to look after this one?
SeaAngel

What's involved?
Flakstruk

Periodically adding responses to the list.
I use the quote function and edit the list using the review bar.
SeaAngel

Can I edit something that you've started?
Flakstruk

No. I guess we could start a new threads
SeaAngel

That was what I figured.
LcdrSwizzle

I had a very busy Milch Cow, resupplying both a U-66 and an Axum. In two turns those two subs sank both a USS Massachusetts and a USS Helena. It was a very out-performing three-some!

Oh, in the background, Freddie de Grosse and Tanigawa destroyed 100% of Dauntlesses that attacked them ... on turn 1!
