Armor hitsIv'e searched this in the rules but nothing says about this so if:
you hit equal or higher to the armor you score 1 hull points
but what happens when you hit 2 times the armor value without vitaling the unit?does it take 2 hull points of damage?

Nothing happens in addition to the first hull point. Some people who switch from the land game get this confused because apparently doubling the armor is good on the dry-side. There are only two values that matter, armor and vital armor.

and your rules suggestion would give destroyers a virtual vital armor of 4 depending on their 2 armor rating(because all destroyers have only 2 hull points) .
