It certainly looks powerful. I don't see any glaring weaknesses. Isn't it really more of an American fleet than an Allied fleet, though?

Still adding up to 504; so I guess you're not using strict point limits. It looks pretty stong against any Axis fleet using historical limits though.

Your Air component is weak: you don't have a spare plane in case of the loss of an avenger or Helldiver, worst you don't have a full wing of Hellldiver (3).
I dont' think the San diego and laffey can protect your ship effectively against jill too.
In 500 pts you have 2*Iowa and 4*Avenger +2 Helldiver to do damage to your oppponent: not enough for me.

Sorry to add insult to injury man, but Avengers are 14, so 4 of them should really be 56 points, not 48. Which puts you at a total of 12 points over still. And out of curiosity, when your build is clearly focused on stopping any air attack against your fleet why not go for Missouris instead of Iowas and ditch a couple of laffeys? Just my 2 cents

Same. And exchange helldivers for Dauntless's. IMO with press the attack they are better.

Here's a thought about defending against air attack also. The more sectors you fill with ships, the worse your air defense is because it spreads out your fighters, even if the ships you add are San Diegos or Atlantas.
There's another reason it is worse also. Let's say you want to protect your Intrepids. If you have one sector with two Intrepids, then a maximum of four enemy aircraft can attack a carrier that turn. If you have two sectors, each with an Intrepid and a San Diego, then that means you'll have to abort 8 enemy bombers to make sure they don't get a shot at your carriers.
Instead of stacking every ship in the fleet with an Atlanta, stack a couple of the important ships together. In your build, I think it'd be great just stacking Alaska with Iowa x 2, and stacking the two Intrepids together. Or, if you really want to go after all three objectives at once, keep the Intrepids together, put the two Alaska's together, and put an Iowa with Atlanta or SanDiego. This reduces the sectors your fighters have to cover from 8 down to either 3 or 4. Spend the points you were spending on other escorts to go ahead and buy more fighters, or more offense in the form of attack aircraft or subs.
