All the fuss and disgrace as its tollI was just thinking lately, looking at the myriad of bad shape tanks I got...
WOTC_BOB, the old Bob, of the old, but joyful forum, what he told us once.
WOTC/AH was split in 2. One team in the East of the States, and the other in California (I think).
In the second set (2005) (formerly name by all Eastern Front at the time), many ppl were not so found of the SA's, at the time. And that was Bob explanation, the divided team, research and development.
I guess now with the Official Eastern Front 1941-1943 set, we see how deep WOTC/AH can dig a hole of misunderstanding with the community.
M2A0 was always there, lurking to down tone anyone with some light at the end of the tunnel.
My tunnel end abruptly. There is a big steel wall of pain. I did support the game and tournament for more than 3 years at my flag, at my home, looking for new players. They do not come anymore to the store, even if I promise my own Combat Zone, sometimes even self upgrade, self painted tank of my collection.
Many are asking for Flames of War books, rules and units. I always told them, do you paint, at least a little. Most of them always shake heads in a negative way. So... Jump on AAM units to fill you needs. Now I cannot even tell them to do that. They are too ugly.
I am really disappointed.
