All it is, is a Revised, Revised Edition. Revised Game with Cruisers and a New rules set. O and the Board was prettied up a Bit.
If you own the Anniversary edition, don't bother buying this game, You already have the Best one out.
Yes AAP is due out in Dec. and AAE is due out next Summer, and Apparently you will be able to connect the 2 games together and combine them into a bigger game. Don't hold your breath for this one though.
Your better off going to AXISANDALLIES.org and looking through the"other" varients and DL'ing the Global War Varient. By far the Best Looking Large Map I have ever seen. Italy is even in this one as their own Country. This version Blows that "The War Game" out of the Water. IMO
