A new concept-critque welcome

Me and my freinds use this alot, thought I would share, cwfgamecast helped as well

Boarding paty- if a destroyer is in a hex with an enemy unit, roll a die on a five or higher ots yours. both ships ccant fire thisn turn.

scuttleing-You may destroy your own unitts, your oppent doesnt get the points, you roll one less attack die and -1 on gunnery.

Boarding Party: Much as I like the idea (and my fellow players can attest to that), I think that IF it was ever allowed, it would only be on a certain unit, and it would be Hell to balance. I mean, trading a (relatively) cheap destroyer for a battleship or something is WAY too good. And then you run into the problem of carriers - what happens to aircraft aboard them? IF I were gonna try to do it, I'd say create a destroyers or auxiliary that has the SA

"Boarding Action: Once per game when a local enemy torpedo boat, auxiliary, or destroyer [or whatever] loses its last hull point, roll a die. On a 6, the ship is crippled instead of destroyed, and you gain control of it. No players gain Victory Points when that unit is destroyed."

Or something like that. And I'm still not TOO sure of it. It'd need playtesting.

Scuttling: Points for sinking an opponent's ship is purely a metagame concept; you should get points for rendering a ship useless whether it's by your own firepower or your opponent scuttling it. In general, I don't really know when it would be useful, except in situations where the opponent can win by sinking your unit in one turn, so that by scuttling it you'd force him to spend an extra turn or two moving to claim objectives. Otherwise, I would personally just say you could "fluff" the sinking of your ship when it loses its last hull point as being scuttled.[/b]
Captain Morevo

I tried putting up Boarding/Scuttling rules already, it was in the Custom rules section of this board.

Found it, curiously it had not been moved and was still in the Custom Cards section rather than the House Rules section

scuttling was supposed to be a way to prevent capture in my rule. Aircraft can make a escape roll, on a 4 or higher tey escape. If lower they become enemy.
