270(ish) point Axis army (WHERE'D YOU GET ALL THOSE MG'S?!?)So I just designed this and in an infantry battle I think it would be near untouchable.
Notes: Never use this army in a tank battle. I don't play with limits on numbers of a specific unit. I use the old rules and most original point costs.
Here we go:
MG 42 x2 = 20 points
Sandbagged MG 42 x1 = 10 points
Finnish MG Team x3 = 27 points
Type 92 MG Team x3 = 21 points
Breda Modello 37 x2 = 16 points
SSPG x5 = 25 points
SS-Haupsturmfuhrer x2 = 14 points
Mauser Kar 98k x4 = 12 points
SNLF Paratroopers x11 = 55 points
Bf109e x2 = 28 points
Mess. Ace x1 = 16 points
Me110 x1 = 17 points
Mitsubishi A6M Zero x1 = 12 points
Now if you are thinking what the F**k are you going to do with all those MG's that is the point. They are intimidating and extremely useful. Also with all those SSPG's and the Haupsturmfuhrers you will have quite the SS force. And with 11 paratroopers to drop at any time that is some quick reinforcements. And the planes will be planes killing any and all infantry. I particularly think this army would be near untouchable in an infantry battle, I mean you have ELEVEN mg's to slow down your enemy, all with double shot. Essentially that is 22 shots per turn. There has to be a rule against attacking that many times right?
Anyways what do you guys think? And before you go off saying "well if you face a tank army then..." this army is not desgined to be balanced and handle everything. It is designed to kill any and all infantry armies which it can probably do.

Well if you played against an axis army with no tanks, a couple of nebelwefers can rip them to shreds. But for Allies, I recommend TONS of Quad 50's. Both sides can have a little sniper mix and that will be easy to pick them off.
But really you have to take in consideration, who would play without tanks? Sturmpanzer Brummbars are decent to tackle them as for the axis, 105mm Priests, and Su122's.

I am doing an infantry battle on Friday, no armor what so ever. I have 10 planes coming in ( 8 allied, 2 axis) giving me a total of 11 and 7. I am debating whether to be allies and use the new planes or be axis and use all the MG's. What do you think?

tough choice. airplanes are a tough pest to deal with since they swoop down, shoot and are gone in a instant. MG teams have double shot and can mow down large groups of infantry. I would pick mg teams because they can take down aircraft with little difficulty.

Okay, thanks. I only have 2 MG's for the allies though so I will have to use my 7 planes at the moment, but once the other 4 allied planes get in I will use them

yes, i know that. I used 5 or 7 depending on how I want the army to be. For this, a large infantry army I made them 5. Though ifI made them 7 it would be roughly 280 points and I could design a 300 point army.
