Format for recording your win-
SeaAngel

Winner: SeaAngel CFS (IJN)
Opponent: hokiepastor CIO (RN)

200 pt game 1941.  hokiepastor brought a pair of BB and I brought a DD swarm.  Dice, dice, dice!  Good Game and a great Opponent!

I apologize that I posted this in the wrong place earlier.

Winner: SeaAngel [CFS] (KM)
Opponent: nrnstraswa [CA] (RN)

200 pt 1942 Darkness match.
I brought a UK air build and SeaAngel brought a Kondor/sub build. Darkness kept a majority of my strike planes from reaching his ships, then his Prinz Eugen pulled off an excellent vital of my Renown. GG!

Interesting sub/Air Italia build by Flak.  I got to play some units I have never pulled out of the box before.  If he had rolled a few more 6s...  Good Game as always, thanks Flak!

Battlecruisers vs. LLT's.  I'd say the LLs won, but Repulse managed to get enough to cover the top while taking 2 LL's to put her down and Renown finished off a pair of DD's in the mid while claiming an objective for the finish.  NAILBITER.  Great game flak.
SeaAngel

Winner: SeaAngel CFS (KM)

Using Club Atlantic Rules.  200 pt 1943
KM subs and Kondors (with Cruisers/DDs) vs USN BBs with DD for smoke.  Antiship missles and U-boats prevailed with the help of some amazing torp rolls.  bunyan plays a good game and never fails to surprise.  He will be visiting the Frozen North soon for payback.

I'll be counting this one as a CFS v Pacific, as Bunyan has moved to represent that club

Well played by bunyan, but the fleet compositions did not favor his build.  Would've been nasty had I subs, but the 3 BB's were vicious.  Bismark vitaling Renown was the clincher.  Good game bunyan.

What do you call Warspite, Richelieu and Saratoga in the Indian Ocean?  A scary fleet!  Flak built well and pushed hard, but didn't have the ASW threats to stop the Uboats from doing their wicked things.  I've also never had so many fighter on fighter kills.  My bf109s accounted for 3 Kittyhawks splashed.  Good game Flak!

He anticipated subs/Kondors but I brought three BBs.   Init dice allowed me to shoot at him without allowing him to shoot back. Good player and a good sport.  Good Game!
Doberman

Nobody playing for Pacific?

Dang, I could've taken the helm and ran with it.
Flakstruk

No time like the present.
Doberman

When are my games being played?

Vs. SWO I'm on his Med turf.
Vs. FLAK I'm playing CFS turf.

I would guess that the med game would count towards me switching clubs?

How do I switch. Do any or all records follow me?

I like my nation options with CFS, it just seems like they have a sizable member advantage.

How do I proceed?
Flakstruk

I will count the current games as CFS matches and be assigned to them.

New games would be as Club Pacific.
If you challenge other clubs, including CFS, you can use their rosters in that match
Doberman

Yeah I really didn't understand the home and away part before this season started so it helps to be able to play other theatres.

So even though SWO and I are both playing in the Med and not the Frozen Waters, it would still count towards CFS?

I'm okay with that was just hoping to use that 1 non CFS build towards something.

Either way cool!
Doberman

Or start a new club!

How Does clubRing of Fire sound?

Doubt anybody would want to play though, was thinking mid Pacific war 43-44' and scratch out the 42 or earlier losses.

Loosing the Lex won't hurt so bad having all those Essex class.

That's probably a long shot but could put some capital and or flagship restrictions on. Sort of an OOB but not quite so.

SWO-You are still playing for CFS, but you are using the CMed restrictions.  Your win/loss would still go to CFS's tally.
FLAK-You are still playing for CFS, but you and Flak are both using CFS restrictions.  Your win/loss still goes to CFS.

Quote:

No, your med game was played under banner for CFS - it is a CFS win.  The recorded result goes to the club, but you keep your own personal stats however you want.
Switch theatre whenever you want to.  Advisable to only do it once though.  No need to tour them all picking up W's and L's that are hard to track.  After season, switch again if you want.  No biggie.  Find the home that is right for you.

Quote:

That is because CFS is awesome Wink!  We are awesome but that is besides the point.  We do have a numerical advantage because our membership is long-term and committed.  CMed has a similar membership - and longer termed actually - CFS was modeled on CMed before multi-national theatre clubs were a thing.  CFS was designed as a way to get the Soviets into the national clubs without being a laughingstock.  High profile/very active players has helped recruit new members for both CFS and CMed.   CA tends to be quieter in nature - CIO is picking up steam (good work FLak), but CP is all but dead in the water.

See my post over yonder (Club Pac HQ) if you want to take the reigns there.  It is both more than you expect and not too much additional work.  A flurry at the front, a small amount of maintenance after that.  Unless you get backlogged like CFS currently is.  Then that will take some sorting through.

Sounds great.

That actually makes things MORE difficult because you add a timing element to it.  That was part of the problem with Club SoPac back in the day.  It made for an uber-force that people didn't want to fight against.  It is less of an issue now because of the home/away option for matches, but in 43/44 remember the IJN has lost most of their carrier forces and a good number of cruisers already.

Simpler I think to figure out which units were Pacific operating and let the year dates be something negotiated for the matches.

Personally, if I were playing in Club Pacific waters I wouldn't mind a USN/blue vs. IJN /red unrestricted year matchup.  The home/away concept of battles allow me to do that.  Whether I win or lose the match record will record with my club, but at least I get a fair match!  The theatre league changed however, because I GREATLY mind a '43+ USN vs. Italy matchup.  Italy has no chance so there is no point.  The home/away concept keeps everyone on pretty even playing fields.  You still earn points for your club, you just don't necessarily use your club's fleets.
Doberman

I have no problems with CFS. I like my builds there. I just didn't understand the home/away concept for theatre.

Yeah it's going to be hard to sell anybody on. 43 US game unless in the Pacific.

But hey Grudge and Aytron are on board. Would be excellent to have GMan and Saint aboard as well.

I just see an empty club with appeal to other new players and a chance to level the playing field and have a little more competitive clubs going.

If there is limited presidential duties so we can at least get it going that would be great.

It will take some time doing the rehab work but with some community support it can be turned around.

Again absolutely nothing wrong with my Frozen Seas club.

If everybody is fine with me organizing a few more players for the league, I can tell them to get started while I finish my CFS duties.

And I still plan to win those games! No worries. Beating SWO and Flak are personal goals regardless.  Both those guys bring A Games and are class acts!

Reporting my first Club Pacific Win!

Winner: Doberman Pacific
Opponent: SeaAngel Frozen Seas

I was outgunned and out planed if you can believe I didn't bother bringing any CV or CVL?
Instead I brought 6Taylors, 4 Edsall, North Carolina, Atlanta, San Diego and Langley. Along with 5 Wildcats, 2 PBM and 2 PBY.

I had also brought 2 Naval Base to which my 4 Edsall got a head start. They did their job as SeaAngel sent heavy type 97 Torpedo Bombers after the little guys the first 3 rounds.
This gave the NC clear path up the middle while the Taylors pulled Top and Bottom objective duty.

It wasn't an anti LL swarm, but my battle plan payed off. Two vitals, 1 on Kongo and 1 on Maya were the tipping point. Kongo sent main gun rounds towards San Diego easily Vitaling my AA specialist. It was a good thing because the Kongo would've easily Vitalled the NC too.

Good Game SeaAngel!

My fleet looked destined to annhilate his from the outset, but you play the games because you never know what will happen.  Instead of being nearly the formality win either of thought it would be, it turned into a 7 turn tenacious battle where his air was causing trouble (death by 1000 cuts) and my Big BB's repeatedly failed to land that big hit.

Finished my last outstanding game of the season.  Great game with SWO; French vs. Brits and didn't turn out at all like I expected on first blush.

Winner: Brigs (CFS)
Opponent: SWO (CM)

His massive sub build with decent air scared the heck out of me with my 2 weakish BB's and DD's running around, but a dearth of torpedo dice from him allowed me to take one objective.  We had mutual surface fleet elimination when KGV and Moltke finished each other off and one of his U510's took out the Hood (after going 0/18 the turn before).  Just enough points to win: 301.

Great Opponent and my 2nd or 3rd mutual elimination game this season!

match was an escalation from 100 to 200 where you keep the first 100.  Flak played with the Bismarck and i played 3 carriers.  in the begining he took the early lead with 2 objectives and sinking my only big gun ship.  but in the end the air won the game.  We both messed up throughout the game but the biggest fatal error was the last turn of the game where my sunderlands went in untouched for the kill.

Was a good game, despite us not being able to complete the game in time, my fault due to lack of free time. Darkness made for some interesting encounters I'll say. GG SeaAngel!

I believe that those are the only games outstanding, first is solidly locked for CFS but the 2,3 & 4 are still open pending those games.
At the time of this message, its 9PM Wednesday, so we've got a bit over 72 hours to get these game sorted.

looks like Club Atlantic is in last place with no hope of coming in forth place :sad walk

I should be able to finish up my game in 72 hours, but are we allowing any leeway for time-zones?  Wednesday just started here (not even 9AM yet) coffee

Good game, SWO!

Didn't exactly finish the season on a high note (I think I lost 3 of my last 4 games), but it was a fun season!
