One question: Why the engineer?

Only one ammo dump means it will certainly be destroyed by the end of turn 1. You could trade the engineer for an extra ammo dump

Close Assault 16... and I have a ploy with 1 ammo dump and an ace fighter... I place my ammo dump in a corner behind cover, obviously, and then put my plane next to it. Someone usually doesn't know the ace makes defensive fire attacks within 4 hexes, so they put 2 planes up against my ammo dump. I call defensive fire on the first and use my attack on the second, then next turn, when they have no planes left, I kill their ammo dump.... if they don't use any aircraft, then I just kill their ammo dump and pick off any threatening infantry with it for the remainder of the match.

well... I find the engineers hard to use without a transport and also, what do you do if your opponent has an AA gun that kills your ace plane before it can do what you want it to do?

Remember that as soon as the ammo dump gets fired on, it has a chance to blow up.

then the Wise-tea drinking-tommy calls upon the great gods of the annicent world before man: great parrot, dangerous Jaguar...and spider who hides, , if attacked by great parrot they proberbly won't ven notice be course great parrot is easily killed with its 1/1 armor, dangerous jaguar, however, strong and powerfull is, it strike fear to bravest warriors even, it has armor 20/15 supperior skin 3, AI 80/70/60/50 and same AV + crackshot, forrest runner, superior range 2567890, superior camoflage and superior cute kittens. If enemy is bitten by spider who hides they need to go seek magic tree of greater good and joy and beg it to heal them, cause spider who hides cant get attacked or killed in any way...cause it hides.

I'm not too concerned with AA taking out my plane. I've never failed to acquire air superiority yet, mainly because I don't face a lot of AA. Half of it is pure luck too, as I've made some pretty brave and/or stupid risks that always seem to pay off.

I have debated pulling out the engineer and the sten SMGs and instead putting in a normal Spitfire. In doing so though, I really risk their infantry swarming me...

If you want to add a bofors, it gives you def against fighters and infantry...

I like it. For all that WAS  has taken off around here, AAM is nearly dead. Doesn't give my SNLF much to do anymore. Crying or Very sad

loose the engineers but otherwise its quite solid, SSPGs might be a problem though.
