There is a winner for each olympic event and an overall winner for the olympics in general.

I see, though I would say that is out of proportion - 5 points to answer a question is a little to much when comparing with the monthly creativity challenge that is on another level of complexity. But that is my opinion nonetheless.

OTOH running 100ms or doing a Marathon also yields the same reward in Olympics.

Yes, but in that case, the rules are known before the competition - not invented during the event. Also, knowing that, one might choose in what event to participate since it cannot also run 100 ms and do the Marathon. Wink

Updated the scores again today. The first round of the pre-selected armies tournament has finished. The second round will start this weekend.

Reminder for those who missed it when the Olympics started. The prizes (that Aquarius is collecting from your donations) are earned by the winner of each event and the top three of the overall rankings. That's why some names are in bold. They are currently in prize-winning positions.

I vote that quiz questions be 2 or 3 points each, not 5.
And/or that creativity challenge points be doubled.

They are the same rules as last year's Olympics. Last year they were made as we went forward.
