This subforum is pointless and goes against the forum's official policy.

Do you know when official policy was last updated?

I respect your opinion, but this forum has kept it's word and leaked nothing. The cat's out of the bag and it's not Foruminis fault. Let us use this forum for what it is intended; talking about what we know and love. It's coming down to the wire now, what could be the harm at this late hour?
Again, with respect.

I agree with you 100%. I just meant making a Subforum for it is completely pointless.

This subforum allows people who want to engage in discussion of the spoiler of the new set to do so without interfering with those who do not want to know.

As to the legality of it, I figure I'll let ND, EK, and Aquarius work that out.  I tend to agree with John Miller, though.  At this point the cat is out of the bag, and this is the best way to handle it.

It's a lot easier than me trying to edit every post on the main forums - that's for sure.

All I was saying is that if the cat is already out of the bag, we should be able to talk about it ANYWHERE. As long as we don't post Photos or Scans.

Preventing people from discussing something they already know from another source isn't very democratic.

The point is that some people don't want to know what the cards look like until the arrive in the mail.

So I am respecting those people's wishes. I am not preventing people from "discussing something they already know", in fact, that is why this forum was created.

Now back to the point of this forum.

Spoilers!!!

So why didn't we do this for the North African release?

You'll have to ask someone else, as A) I wasn't an admin then, and B) I don't play AAM.

The cards have been released. People want to talk about them. Some people don't want to know about them. So I made this forum.

Happy?

No, not especially, with that answer. So am I to understand there is a double-standard if it's a game you play? Why did you even make that an issue?

The point was that I don't read the AAM forum. I didn't even know that there was a release going on when North Africa came out.

I personally think this is a great idea, having posed the notion of it in a thread when I was talking about the spoiler policy with EK.  Although I had mentioned it would be worth using for set III.

The whole point is that those of us who know the set info can discuss it without accidentally spilling information people do not wish to know, and given that the cat is all the way out of the bag now, its nice to have a place to discuss this without having to either 1) fear deletion for including too much info, or 2) upsetting people who don't wish to know the particulars yet.

Thank you.

I stole the idea from you, BTW.

I am not satisfied whatsoever with this response.

I do not accept your answer whatsoever as you commented on the North African release before it came out, and even "credited" people with finding it out and posting it before it was released:

I was reading the Gleemax site, and that topic came up with "credit to John Miller on the other site". Thus, North Africa was revealed.

Anyways, this has turned into a "he said this!, well, he said that!" fight. Locked.
