Wow, that's interesting footage. I haven't seen much from the war on the Eastern Front.
Can someone ID the vehicle on screen from 7:41-45? I don't think I've ever seen a tank like that; turret's very odd looking. _________________ I don't hate my enemy;

It looks like a T-34 that had it's rear blown off by that Pak 38 their hiding behind it. _________________

I believe it is a T-26. _________________

| Was that a KV-1 from 0:45 to 0:55? If so I didn't realize they could move that quickly. I also wonder why a KV-1 would be running away from German riflemen. If I was a German infantryman and saw a KV-1, shooting at it and drawing its attention wouldn't be the first thing I'd think of doing . . . |

The Propagandakompanien of the Wehrmacht often replayed situation, using PoWs and captured vehicles. So, the german rifle man firing at the tank know, that the tank was crewed by the Wehrmacht. _________________

I laughed when I saw that! However, it didn't occur to me that is may have been staged. _________________ Remember the Arizona!
