Finished this finally...As you can see it's considerably different than the old one. I like it better, but alas it's not mine.
I'm pleased with how the deck paint turned out for once. It is nearly all a uniform shade and much crisper, as well as the hull camo. It's just overall better.
I used the flash so the camo can been seen elsewise the camo is lost in the shadows. Please remember that it also exaggerates the colors of the deck camo, making it look...bloody awful. There is a picture without flash to show what it normally looks like.

Thats some really nice cammo there Rengo. Very nice.
Flash is a figure's worst nightmare... particularly if you use ink washes.
