Future Bob Ross?

Just needs a few happy, little trees....

Really looks good, just take a class or trying something on your own?

I saw an episode of Xploration DIY Sci- with Brandon MeConnel.  it originally air on 10/3.  It looked so easy I had to try it!  I went out and bought the spray paints and paper that night.

Awesome work Dano! I get a little worried about you sometimes though. Your not getting a little "spacy" are you? I don't want to see you gravitate away from us however, it is nice to see you launching your interests in other directions. While your mind orbits around your next project maybe sit down and enjoy a Milky way bar.

I had never heard about this guy but thanks to you I watched a couple of youtube videos of this 'spacepainter' Brandon McConnell.

Apparantly, he perfected his way of speedy spraypainting futuristic scenes. He actually shares with Bob Ross the same wet-in-wet technique. Ugly as hell, but highly satisfying for DIY purposes.

Here's a video of a painting in 1 minute:

You've seen one, you've seen them all Smile

I think I can do that!!!  I'll have to mess around with some fabrics first.  I'm also working on my Death Star, X-Wing, and Tie Fighter painting skills!!!  Smile

I think x-wing is 36"x36".

Your right carrion, the game mat is 36" x 36". I believe the game mats for epic games in X-Wing is 2 mats together 72" x 36".

I can do a 40x36" and a 40x72".  ONe less cut to make since the material is 40" wide.  Once they've dried, I'll try a test shipment, and get some feedback.

That size will work for friendly fun games with no problems Dano. The 36" x 36" is the regulation tournament size prescribed by the X-Wing game manufactures.

here's another idea for a Dice Box.  I need to contact Historical Board Gaming about the use of the coasters, but I think this would be a great concept.  HBG has several styles of these coasters, and can be crafted to color theme the dice box.  I used a piece of adhesive felt from Michael's.  I carefully cut out a circle to the size of the coaster.  With the cut-out...the coaster and the felt would almost be flush, instead of the coaster sitting on top of the felt. Here's a couple of pixs, and a link to HBG's coasters.  Questions, comments, suggestions???

at the moment...they have Russian, German, US, British, Italian and Japan coasters, and a various colors.
