Certainly better planes were made, but if the Devastator gets to be in the game, why not these?
Blackburn Skua
2 seater Fighter/Dive Bomber
Speed: 225mph (360 kph)
Armament:
4 Browning .303 inch (7.7mm) machine guns in wings
1 Vickers .303 inch (7.7mm) machine gun in rear position
Appears to have been able to carry a single 500lb (227kg) bomb under the fuselage and up to 160lbs (72kg) of bombs under the wings. Not sure if it was doing both at the same time.
-Sank the sister of the Koln and Karlsruhe. The first major warship to be sunk by aircraft in wartime.
-Scored the first British kill of a German aircraft in the war.
-A variant, the Blackburn Roc, was produced as a kind of carrier based version of the Boulton Paul Defiant turreted fighter.

why is it that the British were the first to have flat tops but yet they were terrible at designing good aircraft for them? _________________

The Fulmar doesn't look so bad |
wrong, the Fulmar looks BADASS ! It's my favorite FAA aircraft of WII...not that I care much for the RN in the game though. But I do feel it's an important (iconic) unit. But since we already have Sea Hurricane and we are most probably going to get the Seafire then I guess we won't ever see Fulmar made by Wotc.
However it could be really unique unit combining an AA value of 6, hurricane armor stats, escort AND shadowing ( !). Would be my RN fighter-of-choice (well if I played RN of course). _________________

Yeah, I was thinking it'd have shadowing or some more limited version. Not sure about the armor... should probably me more like the Barracuda. |

Someone must have misplaced the card then.
Yeah, just did a search, looks like ND deleted the card from the photobucket account. |

Yeah, And i forgot to save it. I had my own printed, but it didn't jive with the Forumini version.
Off the top of my head,
Skua 1939
Speed ???
6pts
AA5
Bomb 6
5/7/1
Fighter/Bomber: We gave it a minus -1 to vital and armor when dive-bombing.
These are off the top of my head, so don't quote me. _________________

Fighter Bomber could probably work the same as the RE 2001s Mission Selection. Maybe an SA like surprise, give it one more die on AA or bomb attacks in the first round? (To represent its historic firsts?) |

Is armor based on speed? Because it was a very rugged aircraft but a little slower than a Hurricane, not much though... _________________

Sorry, RAEVSKI, I'll keep the Skua in this thread and get a new one for the Fulmar.
Btw... sorry about your father-in-law... I chose Asbestos because I did some removal of it. |

I was, didn't do it so long as to risk the asbestosis, but the cancer is strange. The wife of a worker (according to various asbestos horror stories) got Mesothelioma... and all she did was wash her husband's clothes! He was fine though. I've been meaning to ask my doctor to add in 'chest x-rays every five years' to my medical records. |

Meso killed Bill. X rays will not help, it is currently uncureable, early Kemo may help slow it down. _________________

I know all about Meso, I figured it was Meso when you said 'Asbestos Related Cancer' since its unique to asbestos! Quit trying to freak me out! I wore my mask and suit, went through decon, and kept away from that spray on stuff (the most friable and awful sort of A). The chest x-rays are to check for regular, non-meso cancer.
So, about these Skuas? |

We used to have an old Forumini Navies card for this. I can look it up if there's any interest. _________________
